The judge
in your pocket.
An AI that watches your calisthenics skills the way a judge does: frame by frame, against a written rulebook for each one. From your first pull-up to a full planche, it tells you the one thing to fix.
Free. Unlimited scans. Nothing leaves your phone to be judged.
The method
Three things a judge checks. Nothing else.
Is the line straight?
Elbows locked, knees locked, hips on the chord from shoulder to ankle. Every bend shortens the lever, and every shortened lever scores what it is, not what it is called.
Is it horizontal?
Above the bar line is easier. Below it, the lever is winning. Only the flat hold transfers to the next progression.
Is it still?
A hold that swings is being caught, not held. The count starts when the body arrives motionless.
The rulebook is public.
Arms bent
Elbow of the most bent arm, side view. A locked arm reads as one line.
Hips sagging
Hip below the shoulder-to-ankle chord. A lats problem, not an abs one.
Feet above shoulder line
The fake lever. Invisible from below, obvious from the side.
Unstable hold
Motion of the line during the hold. Arrive still, then count.
Every rule has a cue, a why and a drill. Read the breakdowns on the blog.
The CaliDex
Every skill. Every progression.
From tuck to full, each variant is tracked, scored and revealed as an illustrated card you collect.
Front Lever
Tuck → Adv. Tuck → One Leg → Straddle → Full
Planche
Tuck → Adv. Tuck → Straddle → Full
Back Lever
Tuck → Adv. Tuck → One Leg → Straddle → Full
Handstand
Freestanding, scored on hold time and stability
Human Flag
Tuck → One Leg → Full
L-Sit
Tuck → Adv. Tuck → One Leg → Full → V-Sit
+ Front Lever Touch, and dynamic skills: push ups, pull ups, muscle ups, handstand push-ups, with strict rep counting and milestone badges.
What you get.
Coaching that names the fix
Every penalty is explicit: hips sagging, arms bent, body off horizontal. Each one comes with the cue, why it costs you, and a drill to correct it.
Certified scores
A score earns the Certified mark only when every rule was actually judged. A bad camera angle cannot inflate your result, and only certified scans fill your CaliDex.
1v1 battles
Challenge anyone on the same skill. Same engine, same rules, both holds scored side by side. Nothing left to argue about.
100% on-device. Pose tracking and scoring run on your phone, so your videos are not uploaded to be scored, and a bar park without signal changes nothing.
Questions
What is CaliLens?
CaliLens is a free iOS and Android app that scores calisthenics and street workout skills out of 100 from a video. AI pose tracking runs on your phone, checks your form against a written rulebook for each skill, and names the fault to fix first.
Which skills can CaliLens score?
Eleven skills: front lever, front lever touch, back lever, planche, handstand, handstand push-up, L-sit, human flag, pull-up, push-up and muscle-up. Static skills are scored by progression (tuck, advanced tuck, one leg, straddle, full), for 32 variants in total.
Is CaliLens free?
Yes. Scans are unlimited and every scan gets a score, a hold time and a capture quality grade. Your first scan also shows the full breakdown: each fault, the cue and the drill. CaliLens Pro unlocks that breakdown on every scan, the full history and live analysis.
How should I film my skill?
From the side for almost every skill, with your whole body in frame and the phone steady. For levers, planche and L-sit, put the camera at hip height. For push-ups and handstand push-ups, put it at floor level. Pull-ups are filmed from a three-quarter angle at chest height, and the human flag from the front.
Does my video leave my phone?
The analysis and the score are computed on your phone, not on a server. The video is then saved to your account so you can rewatch it in your history. Details are in the privacy policy.
